SDI is a unique dance school in Espoo specializing in urban dance, not only because it is the first of a kind, but because of its global networking offering higher-level and international opportunities. SDI is connected to a worldwide dance network and works alongside important and renowned dance figures in the industry. 

SDI offers a variety of dance styles, from Irish to latin to street. Class levels: beginners to professional. Kids’ classes are also available and other special dance programs.  The faculty is composed of professional top-class dance teachers headed by a world-class teacher/choreographer.  SDI offers a warm & familial atmosphere and low-cost-but-superior dance classes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Style Dance Industry is a professional dance center which means that classes have higher standard and requires students to keep dance etiquette.  Based on the general opinion of students who have taken classes at the SDI, the class levels particularly in the urban styles are much more advanced compared to the local general concept of “advance”. This means that the Advance level is VERY ADVANCE.  The management of SDI encourages  and advices students to try the lower level first. They can move up to the next level whenever they feel comfortable to move on. Please keep in mind that the main teachers at SDI, however friendly and polite they may be, are world-class dance teachers and choreographers.  Even with a smile and their usual kind comments, they operate on a higher level of professionalism having worked in the business for many years.
