DANCE-SPORT KIDS CAMP Fun, challenging, educational for kids ages 6-13. Different duration options: 1-6 weeks. 7-25 June 2010 and 5-23 July 2010. Normal time: 9:00-16:00 (Shorter time option: 10:00-14:30. Longer time option: 8:00-17:00) CAMP PROGRAM: 8:00-9:00 – Optional kids caring; 9:00-10:00 – Free play (outdoor or indoor); 10:00-11:00 – Dance/Sport; 11:15-12:00 – Gathering and Lunch; 12:00-13:00 – Free play (outdoor or indoor); 13:00-13:45 – Organized group play/games; 13:45-14:30 – Gathering and Snack; 15:00-16:00 – Film showing/games; 16:00-17:00 – Optional kids caring The kids will have the opportunity to enjoy and learn some popular and new kids’ games/sports (outdoor and indoor) and different dance styles from basic dance coordination and conditioning, traditional Irish dance to pop/mtv to breakdancing and hiphop and more…. Prices: 100 euro – 1 week; 160 euro – 2 weeks; 220 euro – 3 weeks The package includes dance-sport classes at the Style Dance Industry, lunch, snack, necessary materials (i.e. papers, pens, paper plates, cups, etc…), and other surprises. Description: A 2-month intensive preparatory dance course which primarily aims to provide an excellent base for aspiring and passionate dancers for higher education. Objective: The program is originally designed as a supplementary course for those who are seriously thinking of entering the Style Foundation Program in the coming autumn. However, it can also serve as a good base for those who are preparing to enter a dance course in any dance institution. It is, likewise, a good, short and practical summer course for those who just dance for fun with a bit of commitment. 10 obligatory classes per week of different styles: from Classical to street. (More dance classes available.) Rehearsals included. Discount on summer special workshop. Certificate is issued upon completion. A small recital (mini-show) will be held at the end of the course. Students will be given an evaluation report by the teachers. Whether you are a serious dancer or just having fun, you will be amazed how much joy, opportunities, possibilities and potentials you will discover with this special program!
